Chris Tonks

Chris has appeared before various levels of Court and Administrative Tribunals including but limited to the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, municipal Committees of Adjustment, Board of Negotiation of Ontario, Ontario Land Tribunal, and the Toronto Local Appeal Body.

Chris has an in-depth understanding of government, having previously served as a public-school Trustee at the Toronto District School Board, representing the riding of York South Weston. Elected by his community to four consecutive terms between 2006 and 2022, Chris was responsible for providing budgetary, policy, and management oversight of the largest school board in Canada.
