Scheduling a Consultation

Prouse, Dash & Crouch, LLP is pleased to offer you a free 30 minute consultation with one of our lawyers. Please contact us by phone to arrange for an initial consultation.  Consultations are normally scheduled during regular business hours and are subject to the lawyer’s availability.

When scheduling a consultation, you will be asked to provide certain personal information including an intake questionnaire. This information is used by Prouse, Dash & Crouch to ensure there is no conflict of interest and to provide a brief background to the lawyer in advance of your consultation. Additionally, the Law Society of Upper Canada requires that we obtain photo identification and contact information in certain circumstances. You may be required to provide this information.

Making the Most of Your Consultation

We recommend that you attend your consultation with a list of specific questions you may have. If you have been served with court documents, you should come prepared with an additional copy of the documents to be reviewed at the consultation. For Family Law clients, if you are consulting with us regarding any financial or support matter, or if you wish to discuss entering into a Domestic Contract, it is helpful to bring your Income Tax Returns and Notices of Assessment for the last three years as well as a list of your assets and debts.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE: Sending an e-mail to us does not make us your lawyers. A professional relationship will only be established once Prouse, Dash & Crouch agrees to be retained to provide services to you and you have executed a retainer agreement. No information we provide to you can be treated by you as legal advice, unless and until we have agreed to act for you. Unless you are a current client you should NOT send confidential information to us because no information you send us can be held in confidence unless we have been retained as set out above.
